| I would like to get a group together to go visit Tain and see the petroglyphs up the canyon.... I can't remember the name of it right now... and I'm too lazy to go get my Utah Byways book out of the FJ... I'm sure all of you would love to see my new custom bodywork on the FJ too..... |

| I'd be down for trail run in Price. What dates did you have in mind?
What sort of custom body work did you have done? |

Nine Mile Canyon is where you might be thinking of. There are also numerous places in the San Rafael Swell that you can find 'glyphs. |

| Anytime have been thinking of going up over Bruin Point above East Carbon city and down Cold springs into 9 Mile canyon or backwards never done it either way. I think it would be a drive for a daily driver so the more the merrier. I just found some isolated Petroelyphs near an old dinosaur dig down on the price river about 45 minute round trip from my house. Can you tell I have a hard time deciding where to go. Plan on doing the Sanrafel Swell Columbus day weekend with Fly Jester Looking forward to that trip but need something in between. I have every other weekend off, missed Moab trip the 18th so I will throw out August 28th September 11th or 25th or even Labor Day Sept. 6th These roads are heavy traffic gravel part of the way is a regular for 4 wheelers (hondas) but I believ all doable. Lets do it narrow the days down. SEE YA Tain |

| I would love to but I've been planning Moab for next weekend and it would push my wife over the edge if I was to go wheeling both weekends.
For anyone that has not met Tain you should make an effort to do so. We had a blast when we rolled up to the spiral jetty. He's a solid fellow. _________________ brett

| Hey no problem wish I was going to Moab with you all, Don't forget to wave on your way through. would take time off but had to spend time in West Virginia so my little weekend job wants me to be there. Will get in on one of these rides soon. I did find an Indian village out 9 mile that I didn't know was there. Don't worry the state put a sign up showing where it was, nothing to exciting. anyway if ant takers let me know and will give 9 mile a run. |

| I read in a book yesterday that nine mile canyon has the greatest concentration of petroglyphs anywhere in the world. Wonder what made that such a center of native American culture? |
