If anyone is interested I'm headed back up to Sheep Herders Canyon this weekend and hiking the trail this weekend. This is the trail head that starts where we all had lunch.

I hiked a portion of it last weekend and going to be do some more.

Time: 730am, yes your read that right 730 . It's to beat the heat of the day and some of the views are better with the rising sun. I'll hang around for about 10 minutes before heading out.
Bring: Water!! and a snack to take with you.

I don't remember who asked on the run asking if the trail near the pond/lake connected with it any others trail.

I can say after today that it does not. Once your passed that lake/pond you pass two more and then it ends passed the 3rd one down a switchback ending at remote camping spot.

Pond/Lake 2 and 3 both have a nice area too camp.
