I would like to get a group together to go visit Tain and see the petroglyphs up the canyon.... I can't remember the name of it right now... and I'm too lazy to go get my Utah Byways book out of the FJ...

I'm sure all of you would love to see my new custom bodywork on the FJ too..... affraid

I'm heading out on July 5th since I have the day off too Sheep Herders Canyon.

It's a spur off of Skyline Drive behind Bountiful, the trail dead ends a little ways in but it leads to a hiking trail and has some great views. That and some fun 4x4 action. What a Face

I'm putting this trip off until next weekend. I did yard work and wrenched on the FJ instead. It's never as fun to go by yourself and I'm a tiny bit concerned about getting stuck without backup.

So anybody interested in this coming weekend?

Who wants to join in for the annual Columbus Day Weekend trail run in Moab(and other areas to be mentioned)?? I've been going since 2007 and I want to keep my streak going. I know there are several of you that want to go that I have spoken with.

For a small change-up I am proposing a night or two camping in the San Rafael Swell, then going down to Moab for a couple more days...

My wife and I decided to head up Providence canyon tonight instead of the regular movie night. We only made it a bit past the quarry. By the first right bend we had already had to use the locker 3-4 times. We got hung up on a boulder for a bit and I was just about to unspool the winch when I wiggled off it. I took a bunch of paint and powder off my bumper but no big damage.

Trail Runs as currently scheduled for the above three if you want to run with some Utah guys, and they're not filled up.
If Poughkeepsie (spelling?) opens up I get the vibe that we might change a trail to do that one.

Heading up AF this evening if anyone wants to join me. My wife and I are just going to take a drive up Forest lake. With so many out in Ouray and Moab this week and next week, I just need to get out.
